Safe Sanctuaries
In order for Calvary UMC to comply with the mandate of the General Conference of the United Methodist Church for all churches to develop safe sanctuary policies for the protection of children and youth as well as those who work with them. The purpose of this document is to define specific policies and procedures which will help to protect all children and youth (under the age of 18) that come to us, to protect both paid and volunteer staff from potential false allegations of abuse, and to limit the extent of legal liability.
