THE CALVARY CHILD CARE CENTER IS OPEN FROM 6:30 A.M. UNTIL 6:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
The Calvary Child Care Center is located in the basement of the main church building. Care is provided there daily for children from six (6) weeks old to 12 years old. Before and after school care is offered also.
The Director is Tammi Cersoli who graduated from Corning Community College with an Assoicate of Science (A.S.) degree in Human Services and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Administration. In addition, she graduated from Cornell University with a Family Development Credential. In her spare time, she volunteers as a leader for Girl Scouts and 4-H. Her past volunteer experience includes Millerton UMC Food Pantry, Boy Scout leader, and Vacation Bible School teacher. From
1999-2005 she worked for EOP Head Start as a Family Advocate for children
ages 3 – 5 years old. Several of the rest of the staff hold CDA Certificates from their advanced training.
The Center holds a STAR 2 status as designated by the PA Keystone Stars Program. Creative Curriculum is used at each level and the teaching is aligned with the PA State Standards for Preschool children. For the K-Prep class, the McMillian's Little Treasures Curriculum is currently being used in line with the Northern Tioga School District's Pre-K program.
