I am a second-career pastor. I was in my mid-forties when I felt God calling me to become a full-time pastor, and in 1992 I attended Licensing School. Thereafter, in July 1995, I was appointed to my first charge, a 3-point charge in the State College District. During my eight years there, I attended the "Course of Study” school at Wesley Seminary; four weeks a year for five years and graduated in 2001. In 2003 I was appointed to the Liberty Charge located in the former Wellsboro District. I retired at the end of June 2015 after 20 years as a full-time minister. In September 2015 I was appointed to serve as the Interim pastor at the Mansfield First UMC until June 2016. In November of that year, I was asked to fill in at the Ralston Charge and was there for six weeks. Finally, in June 2017 I served at the New Visions Parish for six weeks, and on July 30, 2017, I began serving at Calvary UMC.
